I was inspired after a trip to Japan. My grandma is getting older and wanted to travel to other countries.After several discussions, we decided to go to Kyoto.Kyoto is a place full of ancient temples and beautiful old building and that is the reason why we choosed to go.
We visited so many temples such as 清明 temple that was famous of touching a peach and the peach will take away the misfortune after touching it.
The most unforgettable temple that we visited was 清水寺 and this temple was the oldest temple in Kyoto.
There were stores nearby the temple's stairs and they sold food and little things to the foreigners.
When we were climbing on the stairs of the temple , a Japanese grandma hold my hand and asked me to stop.
I didn't know what she was telling me and she took away my empty water bottle and filled it for me and she also put some lemon
slices in ithe bottle. I was totally moved by this grandma's behavior ,but I still can't understand what she was talking about .
My mom who learned Japanese for several years translated what the grandma said to me.The grandma said she don't want me to be thirsty when I am climbing the temple stairs and the lemon slices are good to our skin.
We had a good time.,but it was a pity that I couldn't speak Japanese.So I decided to learn Japanese after the trip .
I hope someday I can have conversation with Japanese.
